What I Wore: Halloween 2022

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! This year, I curated glam versions of a variety of characters from spooky films — Nina from Black Swan, Thorn from The Hex Girls from Scooby-Doo, and Sweeney Todd from Sweeney Todd. Plus a bonus costume!

Below are 3 main staples for each costume to share with my fellow spooky people. “Happy Halloween!”

I’m missing spooky season but also looking forward to the remainder of the year! Once Halloween ends, I become super aware of the little time left in the year. It’s a time when we all naturally reflect on accomplishments and on what we have left to complete. I told someone recently that I feel like I’ve lived more in this one year than I have the past five years! While that’s cool and all, I also just really want to rest. Where’s my Dracula coffin? lol.

Anyway, I’m already looking forward to next Halloween and wonder what the mood for that Halloween season will be! This time around, I’m hoping for more gags than ghosts, but I’ll roll with the ideas as they come and whatever feels right in the moment!

See you next year. <3
